The 29th Annual Martha’s Vineyard Memorial 5K Road Race was held on Sunday, May 28, 2023, in Oak Bluffs. The race was a celebration of life in memory of those who have lost their lives to cancer, and it raised money for Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard (HPCMV).

The race was a huge success, with over 500 runners participating. The weather was perfect, and the course was flat and fast. The runners were all in good spirits, and there was a lot of cheering and support along the way.

The race started and finished at the Summercamp Hotel in Oak Bluffs. There were water stations along the course, and there was a post-race party with food, drinks, and music. All proceeds from the race benefit HPCMV.

HPCMV is a non-profit organization that provides end-of-life care to patients and their families on Martha’s Vineyard. The organization’s mission is to “provide expert-level care for patients and their families, whether they be at home, in the hospital, or a long-term care facility.”

The 29th Annual Martha’s Vineyard Memorial 5K Road Race was a great way to support HPCMV and their important work. By participating in the race, you are helping to ensure that patients and their families on Martha’s Vineyard have access to the care they need.
